Summary
The aim of this article is to describe the methods of stimulating collagen synthesis in the skin. Collagen is an essential element in the human body that enables long-term stability and elasticity of bones, tissues and joints. The production of new collagen is known as neocollagenogenesis. Collagen plays an important role in the mechanical and structural properties of connective tissue. Neocollagenogenesis is often seen as the main target of various non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures in aesthetic medicine. The results of the treatments are also properly interpreted: any improvement in the condition of the skin - reduction of pores, reduction of the depth and number of wrinkles and much more - is attributed to local stimulation of neocollagenogenesis in the skin.

Key words: neocollagenogenesis, collagen, collagenogenesis, laser, anti-aging
