Summary
Microneedle mesotherapy is a two-direction method, which on one hand enables the absorption of biologically active ingredients by deeper layer of dermis and skin and on the other hand takes advantage of wound healing principle as a natural skin ability to rebuild and regenerate. The study investigated the effectiveness of microneedling in combine with hyaluronic acid as an active agent in reducing signs of aging. A series of 5 treatments were performed on a group of 5 women aged 38-70. Treatments were used using a dermaroller with a needle length of 1.5 mm. The results of treatment were documented and shown in the photographs, the look of the skin was described in details for each case and a questionnaire regarding the satisfaction of the treatment was applied. Improvement in skin condition, reduction of wrinkles and an increase in satisfaction with the procedure has been observed. Test results should be confirmed in high-quality therapeutic experiments on a larger number of subjects including control group.
