Acne is one of the most common dermatoses affecting mainly adolescent. It is characterized by the appearance of changes in the form of comedones, papules, pustules and purulent lesions. Skin care and treatment are crucial in the fight against acne. In light forms of acne, proper care may be enough to achieve the proper skin condition. Aim. The aim of the study was to assess the skin condition and satisfaction of patients with acne after 8 weeks of treatment using a series of Duetus cosmetics. Materials and methods. The paper presents the results of a questionnaire aimed at evaluating the results after using cosmetics from the Duetus series. 22 volunteers (mean age 22 ± 2 years) with symptoms of acne vulgaris participated in the study. Volunteers used cosmetics from the Duetus series for 8 weeks. Results. After analyzing the questionnaires filled in by the participants, the study found that cosmetics from the Duetus line effectively contribute to reducing the number of skin eruptions, reduce the amount of sebum, as well as to reduce discoloration after acne. Importantly, these preparations improve satisfaction with the facial appearance among the respondents. 95.5% of respondents observed improvement of skin condition after 8 weeks of using Duetus cosmetics. In addition, 91% of respondents would like to continue using the Duetus series. Conclusions. An important element in the case of patients with acne skin is its proper care. Cosmetics from the Duetus line according to the subjects effectively contribute to reducing the number of skin eruptions, reducing the amount of sebum, reducing hyperpigmentation after acne.
