Use of the scalp cooling system as an effective method of preventing hair loss induced by chemotherapy in women with breast cancer

Summary
The issue of breast cancer and treatment connected with this disease has been brought in many publications. Nevertheless in Poland it is hardly ever spoken about the ways eradicating its side effects. Alopecia belongs to one of the causes of rejection of potentially effective healing process. Cooling the head skin at the time of usage of chemotherapeutics can enable treated patients to keep hair and improve their quality of life.
