Due to the increased sense of the importance of the body to the shaping of human identity, corporeality is extremely important now. Aim. The aim of the study is to show students´ attitudes about corporality. Material and methods. The study was conducted in 2016 among 136 university students in Lublin, Krakow and Warsaw. The research tool was a own authorship questionnaire. Results. According to the study, 55.7% of respondents are satisfied with their external appearance. However, as many as 66.1% of respondents admitted that they would like to change the some element of the external appearance. The largest percentage of people would like to modify the appearance of their figure, which was considered the most important determinant of the attractiveness of a woman. The vast majority of respondents recognized that external appearance influences success in life (85.9%). Key words: corporeality, posture, body |
