Summary
Acne vulgaris is one of the most frequently occurring skin diseases, affecting mostly adolescents, but it is also getting more common among the adults over 35 years old. It is a chronic disease of hair-sebum roots of complex etiology, multiformity efflorescence and multidirectional treatment. An appropriate lifestyle is crucially important to minimize the likelihood of disease, accompanying symptoms or its effects. A healthy diet is one of the most important factors which decides on therapeutic success in acne. Eliminating inappropriate products and introducing adequate ones to the diet may reduce the risk of developing acne and have an impact on more effective healing of lesions.
