Ingrown teonail - etiology, prevention and treatment methods

Summary
Ingrown toenail is a disease that can affect both young and mature. The disease is chronic and usually applies to toe in the foot. The disease involves pressing or driving a nail into the edge of the tissue side of the shaft, which causes discomfort or pain of varying severity. Depending on the stage of the disease pain can cause considerable difficulties in daily life. The cause of ingrown nails can be internal pressure, external pressure and the presence of additional factors. Prevention and treatment of ingrown nail primarily involves the separation of the shaft from the oppressive side of the nail plate, creating the right track nail growth and proper hygiene. The article explains the concept of ingrown nail, discusses the pathogenesis and principles of the care and treatment of this disease.
