Autologous fibroblast transplant as a modern treatment in post acne scarring

Summary
Post acne scarring is a wide problem reaching a lot of acne survivors, whom usually cannot deal with it on their own. Throughout past few years a new method of acne scarring treatment has been developed, based on transplantation of autologous fibroblast. It also gives medical and beauty industry low invasive and effective way of treating atrophic acne scarring. This article also shows scarring etiopathogenesis, immune aspects of scarring, stages of scarring from injury to neocollagenesis. The effect of a treatment is reduction of acne scarring and skin tightness and elasticity improvement. Autologous fibroblasts transplant brings excellent long term therapeutical effects, which requires a lot of patentees from patients. Good classification of a treated patient in a medical aspects but also in a psychological one is needed. Unfortunately it is expensive procedure not only for a patient but also for medical units offering this kind of treatment, therefore despite good results it is still not very popular treatment.
