The butter is a solid, hard, sticky whitish, creamy or light yellow color. Well dissolved in water and under the influence of the temperature of the human body turns into an oily, brown liquid. As a raw material, Shea butter is relatively easy to obtain, characterized by high bioavailability and low price. The chemical composition of the butter differs depending on the region from which the raw material is obtained and because of the isolation technique. In cosmetics Shea butter shows versatile operation. It is used in the care of the skin and its appendages, with moisturizing, softening and smoothing properties.
