Summary
In this work the analysis of chemical composition (according to INCI names) of Nivea Cellular Perfect Skin cosmetics was conducted and the effect of basic and active ingredients on their declared caring properties was evaluated. In analysis author paid attention to these compounds that present in the formulations may influence the declared properties and products performance. The analysis confirmed that Nivea Cellular Perfect Skin cosmetics, thanks to the content of well-selected ingredients (particularly 4-butylresorcinol and magnolia bark extract) may be effective in hyperpigmentation-prone skin care, mainly by reducing existing spots, preventing the appearing the new ones, and restoring skin´s natural glow.
