Summary
Background. Poland has recently seen a growing interest in needle free mesotherapy.
Aim. This paper attempts to assess customer satisfaction related to this procedure and aesthetic results of introducing anti-wrinkle, skin lightening and lifting substances into the skin by means of this method.
Material and methods. The study was conducted on a group of 121 respondents aged between 20 and 63 years. The survey was conducted in accordance with international standard to environmental research and ethical rules. The study was conducted between March and May 2015, by means of an anonymous research questionnaire, targeted at beauty salon customers who underwent beauty treatment by means of needle free mesotherapy.
Results. Each of the members of the study group (100%) noticed visible results already after the first treatment session. After an anti-wrinkle treatment, over a half (57%) of the customers noticed more than one positive result, and 17% noticed all the three of them; after a lifting treatment the respective proportions were 41.6% and 16.7%. After a skin-lightening treatment, every second person (50%) found their facial skin to be generally lighter, and almost one in three (28.5%) noticed more than one positive result.
Conclusion. The levels of general satisfaction with treatment results were as follows: 95% of the study group claimed to be satisfied, 5% failed to notice any significant improvement, none of the customers expressed disappointment. According to most of the customers, needle free mesotherapy was a very effective innovation in cosmetology.
