Conditions on the ground seborrheic among the most common in adolescents during puberty and difficult to treat because of the samonawracanie. The study, which has so far been carried out, does not take into account the impact of lifestyle or BMI of the emergence of diseases seborrheic, making this analysis seemed justified. Aim. The aim of this study was to investigate whether lifestyle and BMI influence the tendency to seborrhea in high school students. Material and Methods. The study involved 200 people aged 16-19 years, including 99 women and 101 men - students of secondary school and the team of secondary schools in Nowa Ruda. The method of diagnostic survey, using the survey technique of his own design. The study excluded people with hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism, polycystic ovary syndrome, Cushing´s syndrome and depression. The material was divided into sex of respondents and tertiles according to their BMI. It does not take into account the generally accepted ranges of BMI because they have been developed exclusively for adults and can not be used in relation to young people. The results are shown by calculating the number of surplus observed with respect to the theoretically expected. Results and conclusions. 1. In lean and stout seborrheic disease are significantly more likely than patients with an average BMI. 2. BMI little effect on the skin condition in all subjects. 3. Physical activity is not affected by the occurrence of diseases with seborrheic. 4. Stress in the surveyed high school students does not affect the appearance of seborrheic diseases. 5. The diet does not contribute significantly to the overproduction of sebum by the body, and thus - to the formation of blackheads, pimples and inflammation on the surface of seborrhea.
