Sugar scrubs effectively remove impurities and dead cells of the outer layer of the epidermis and thus stimulate the skin to regenerate itself. Aim. The aim of the study was to analyze the physicochemical properties of scrubs avaible on Polish market and according to our recipe containing the recipe sugar cane. Materials and methods. The paper presents the study of physicochemical properties of sugar scrubs (peel), which are available on the Polish market and according to our recipe. Their physicochemical, rheological and organoleptic properties were designated. Results. Studies have shown that sugar cane is an excellent raw material for their production. Peels in which the shape of particles of sugar was sharp and crystals was the biggest results in the best exfoliation properties. Results of organopletic properties depend on the composition of the oil phase. Conclusions. For the consumer less important is the look and smell of a cosmetic. The most important are the quality and naturalness of its ingredients, fulfilled functions of moisturizing and film-forming. It is important that the application of peel was appropriately greasy and peel did not scatter themselves. Key words: peels, sucrose, organoleptic properties |
