Summary
The aim of the article is to show the role of the psychoactive food components in shaping the welfare of people who use the cosmetic services. It has been shown that under certain conditions the ratio of protein to carbohytrate in the diet can affect the concentration of neurotransmitters in the human brain, which have behavioral functions. The concept of neurotransmitter, biochemical names, chemical formulas, food components which are their precursors and psychophysiological functions were defined. It was also proposed to expand the term of nutricosmetics/nutricosmetology of the prefix "psycho", namely: psychonutricosmetics/psychonutricosmetology. This new term is to emphisize the role by food and nutrition in shaping the mental state of people using cosmetic services.

Key words: nutricosmetics, psychoactive food, psychonutricosmetology, neurotransmitters
