Summary
In this work the analysis of chemical composition (according to INCI names) of Eucerin Hypersensitive dermocosmetics was conducted and the effect of basic and active compounds on their declared caring properties was evaluated. In analysis author paid attention to these compounds that present in the formulations may influence the declared properties and products performance. The analysis confirmed that Eucerin Hypersensitive dermocosmetics, thanks to the content of well-selected ingredients (particularly SymSitive® and licorice root extract) may be effective in care of hypersensitive skin, prone to redness and rosacea, mainly by reducing redness, restoring relief to the skin and protecting it against irritation. Free-off formulas without preservatives (including parabens), paraffin, dyes, fragrances, and alcohol reduce the risk of adverse skin reactions after their application.
