The problem of the absence of a clear definitions is exacerbated by the absence of regulations clearly defining the cosmetologist profession. With reference to the definition of health and health sciences seems reasonable to recognize makeup and styling in terms of cosmetology as health science, but only in reference to higher education and interdisciplinary education. This approach created a new form of education in the field of make-up and styling in relation of disease prevention, health promotion, health education, erroneous recognition the plastic surgery as the only solution to the problems, avoiding the transformation of defects in the disease, an element that helps to communicate mainly affecting mental health but also in the classical sense by referring to dermatology.
