Lack of physical activity, a diet rich in sugars and fats, sedentary lifestyle, smoking and stress are the most common causes of cellulite and skin striae, and loss of skin elasticity and firmness. In an era of the race to the perfect body, many people are looking for help in cosmetology salons. This is a much simpler and faster way than keeping a strict diet or regular physical activity. Both, cosmetologists and patients are constantly looking for new solutions that are safe and effective. Cosmetic salons are designed to offer substantial lists of procedures which improve silhouette. Currently are frequently used phototherapy, ultrasonically and electromagnetics, but the effect always depends on the individual predisposition of each organism. Also, until this day are very popular simple modeling techniques such as massages or treatments consisting in reduction and raising the body temperature. Currently, there is such a huge pool of procedures, so cosmetologist can individually choose the appropriate depending on the expectations and predisposition of the patient.
