The term also includes antioxidants, some semi-synthetic analogs of vegetable substances, natural plant extracts, synthetic food additives and drugs. Antioxidants also play an important role in the diet. Thanks to them is inhibited the formation of free radicals in the body, an excess of which leads to the development of many diseases. In addition to the ability to rebuild damaged cells antioxidants also have a positive effect on improving the appearance of our skin, and improve well-being. Although our body can produce them yourself, at a certain age the number drops drastically. Therefore, the deficit should be offset by a balanced diet.
