Skin and its appendages as a mirror image of the body´s internal diseases

Summary
Nowadays, the external appearance is the business card of human beings. A substantial impact on the way we look is the condition of the skin, hair and nails. For this reason also the cosmetics market provides a wide range of various procedures and products to help maintain a beautiful body. Unfortunately, despite of all efforts, struggle with imperfections does not always bring the desired effects. This may be caused by treating the skin without searching for the causes of imperfections that may lie much deeper and affect the state of the whole organism. Ongoing disease processes in the body can manifest in the skin, hair or nails. Knowledge of skin and its appendages disorders is essential for cosmetologist, but still downplayed. It happens that seemingly minor symptoms are a sign of serious disease, which early diagnosis can protect from the health or life damage.
