Pol J Cosmetol 2013, 16(3): 186-189pl  The use of ultrasound for fat reductionDariusz Bandachowicz Śląski Uniwersytet Medyczny w Katowicach Summary In cosmetology increasingly used in the modern technologies and modern methods to improve the appearance. Among them, more and more attention not only to cosmetologists and specialists, but also patients enjoy treatments using ultrasound. This article is an attempt to present the most popular and latest techniques to reduce body fat using ultrasound. It provides a description of methods such as ultrasonic liposuction and ultrasonic cavitation, as the most popular and most widely used method to reduce body fat. In addition, the article presents modern methods of fat reduction, lipolysis iniective-ultrasonic, OXY-Gamma-Lipolysis and procedures using a combination of ultrasonic wave action and the sound wave with increasing pressure.
