Nanomaterials, because of its small size (one to several hundred nm), have unique properties that can be used in many areas of life. In recent years the cosmetics industry has developed a particularly strong when it comes to finding nanotechnology. Nanoparticules such as microemulsions are intended quickly and precise penetration into the dermis. Nanocosmetics give a large potencial of transition through al most impenetrable barrier. Transition metal nanoparticles (also called metal colloids or nanoclusters) are ordered multi-atom sets characterized by a very small size. They are intermediate species between single atoms and crystals of macroscopic dimensions. This article describes silver and copper nanoparticles likewise theirs applicaton in cosmetology. The paper presents an assessment of the impact of nanostructures on body, particularly on skin. Key words: nanotechnology, nanosilver, nanocopper, microemulsions |
