Cosmetology in the fight against obesity

Summary
Obesity is one of the most serious civilization diseases in the world. The etiopathogenesis of the obesity is multifactorial. Coexisting of numerous metabolic, endocrinological and psychological factors which can be genetically conditioned or develop under the influence of the surrounding environment, is contributing to development of disease. The obesity constitutes the clinical and social serious problem, because is a crucial factor of illnesses such as the cardiovascular system. Therefore, there is an urgent need to identify and select the best methods of the fight against the obesity exists. Without the detailed knowledge of etiological factors and an interdisciplinary approach for curing this phenomenon, the problem of the obesity cannot be solved. This article presents the etiology of obesity, and contemporary technologies enabling the aesthetic improvement in the skin at persons suffering because of the obesity, were described.
