In some regions of the world it is regarded as a troublesome, easily multiplying weed. The latest studies on its composition show that bamboo can be widely used both as a dietary supplement and a natural broad-spectrum medication. Due to new technologies of bamboo fiber processing it is also implemented in modern textiles, giving them bacteriostatic and antibacterial properties.
