Nose, as the most projected face structure, focuses people´s attention and can be subjected to different opinions. Rhinoplasty is one of the commonest procedures in plastic surgery. Esthetic surgery of congenital nose deformity is one of the most difficult and complicated operation in facial plastic surgery. Aim. The aim of this research is clinical evaluation of long-term results after esthetic rhinoplasty. Material and method. The study was carried out in the group of 68 patients operated on in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Esthetic Surgery due to congenital nose deformity. The group consisted of 54 women and 14 men. Mean age was 36,2 years. Long-term results were performed on the basis of clinical examination done by doctor and questionnaire filled in by patients. Obtained data were statistically analyzed. Results. Performed evaluation of long-term results after esthetic rhinoplasty qualified received effects as very good and good in most of patients (85,3%). Statistical analysis revealed that women are significantly more often satisfied with performed surgery than men and reduction of smell after rhinoplasty is more common in men than women (p<0,05). Conclusions. The plan of rhinoplasty in patients with congenital nose malformation should be based on detailed evaluation of particular deformity and reflect correct proportions of patients´ face. Surgical procedures of congenital nose deformities give good esthetic results. Women are significantly more often satisfied with performed surgery than men.
