Summary
Mesotherapy might be a safe and effective method of treating many diseases or cosmetic defects which have not been eliminated so far with the use of other therapies. The most popular and common procedure is "mesolift", a preventative procedure which aims at inhibiting the process of skin ageing, used in both standard and non-needle mesotherapy. Cocktails composed of hyaluronic acid (frequently used in monotherapy), embryoblasts, vitamin complexes and polydeoxyribonucleotides used in biorevitalization have become commonly used procedures in aesthetic medicine. Along with chemical peelings they are first-stage treatments stimulating natural regeneration processes in the skin and in that way improving the skin appearance and properties. Autologous mesotherapy is another innovative treatment revitalizing the skin. It is an autologous preparation obtained from platelet-rich plasma produced from the patient´s own blood.

Key words: needle mesotherapy, non-needle mesotherapy, autologous mesotherapy
