Characteristics of the glucosamine is formed on the basis of clinical study results, mechanism of action and studies on the safety of the compound. Many preparations of glucosamine had been introduced to the market of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics before the substance was meticulously examined. Due to development of researches on glucosamine and growing number of positive results of studies on this substance number of glucosamine preparations is increasing.
