Application of essential oils to natural and organic cosmetics

Summary
In the study the criteria indispensable to define a cosmetic as a natural or natural and organic product are presented. The rules of production, packaging, labelling and storage as well as the raw materials both adissible and forbidden for such defined products are provided. Essential oils, which are the most frequently applied to cosmetic products with regard to their chemical composition, antibacterial and antifungal activity as well as their meaning in cosmetology, are discussed.
