The rules of production, packaging, labelling and storage as well as the raw materials both adissible and forbidden for such defined products are provided. Essential oils, which are the most frequently applied to cosmetic products with regard to their chemical composition, antibacterial and antifungal activity as well as their meaning in cosmetology, are discussed.
