The present article constitutes a review of the current state of knowledge in the field of practical application of a considerably numerous group of plant materials in combination, acne-infected, sensitive and senile-wrinkled skin care. Various treatments feasible to be prepared at home, such as masks, compresses, toners, lotions and steam treatments have been presented for each skin type. Their ingredients are mainly herbs which have long been ranked among extremely precious medicinal plants both in Poland and in Europe, some of them being appreciated even worldwide.
