Thanks to that, it is used in many areas of life, such as medicine - as a preventive, cosmetology, dermatology and dietetics. Products containing royal jelly are easily absorbed by the body and have a high nutritional value. Royal jelly has antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It is characterized by renewing and regenerating properties, stimulates the healing of wounds and ulcers, soothes acne lesions, lightens discolorations and normalizes the work of sebaceous glands. Royal jelly is eagerly used in anti-aging products. There is a growing interest in the usage of apitherapy as a preventive measure and as a supplement to the drug treatment. Further research, including clinical trials, is needed to determine the exact preventive and therapeutic possibilities of using products from the hive.
