Summary
There are many substances in cosmetics, excessive amounts of which can cause harmful effects on the human body. Among them are aluminum, cadmium and parabens that exhibit estrogenic effects. Excessive supply of fluoride causes fluorosis of bones, teeth and the nervous system. SLS and SLES, strong detergents that can severely irritate the skin, consequently causing allergic reactions, are added to washing cosmetics. The last group is formaldehyde along with its donors with proven carcinogenic effects.
