Peeling - hydroxy acids

Summary
A detailed analysis of hydroxy acids used in cosmetology was carried out, with a discussion of the mechanisms of their action described in the literature, with particular emphasis on the legal aspects of their use described in the opinions of the SCCP and CIR. The issues related to the therapeutic index of hydroxyacids and methods of reducing irritation by modifying skin penetration are discussed. The methods of lypophilization are mentioned. Commonly used polyhydroxy acids are described.
