The problem of excess of fat tissue on thighs is general. There are several methods of its reduction by: radiofrequency, carboxytherapy and endermologie. Aim. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency of fat reduction by different aesthetic medicine procedures. Material and method. The questionnaire study was conducted in the group of 80 females, who underwent the procedures of fat reduction. Women were aged from 18 to 62 years of age. The questionnaire included 14 questions. Results. All respondents underwent aesthetic medical procedures of thigh fat reduction. The most common were endermologie, carboxytherapy and ultrasound liposuction, as well as massage by Chinese cupping or manual massage. Most of respondents (69 women, 86.2%) evaluated positively the effects of procedures giving 4 or more as a mark in 5th grade scale. Conclusions. Endermologie and carboxytherapy are estimated as the most effective methods of fat reduction. Effective fat reduction is not only connected with medical procedures but also with diet and physical activity. Key words: fat tissue, endermologie, carboxytherapy |
